The aim of the course is to provide students of the MSc programmme in “Applied Biosciences” with in-depth knowledge in: molecular mechanisms of pathologies; modern approaches and lab techniques used in clinical diagnostics; methods of assessment and monitoring of environmental pollution for the sollution of environmental problems. Student will acquire the knowledge of technologies to monitor the level of environmental pollution (air, water, soil), This include sampling, assessment of BO, COD, BOD as well as identification of CO, NO2, CO2, SO2, pesticides and heavy metals and application of these methods in solving the environmental problems.
